For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

This gene encodes a protein located at the cell surface. The N-terminus shows similarity to the cAMP-dependent protein kinase A (PKA) type II alpha regulatory subunit (RIIa), while the C-terminus contains an IQ calmodulin-binding motif.
The central region includes carbohydrate-binding motifs, suggesting a role in cell-cell adhesion. Initially identified for sperm binding to the zona pellucida, SPA17 is now known to participate in immune cell migration and metastasis.
A retrotransposed pseudogene is located on chromosome 10q22.
