It has been successfully used in flow cytometry, functional assay, and immunoprecipitation procedures.
The immunogen is purified membrane of human tonsil cells.
Store at 4ºC for short term. For extended storage, aliquot and store at -20ºC. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
Target Information
HLA-class I major histocompatibility (MHC) antigens are intrinsic membrane glycoproteins expressed on nucleated cells and associated with beta2 microglobulin.
They present foreign determinants crucial for immune recognition by cytotoxic T cells, playing an essential role in antiviral and antitumor defense.
Human HLA-class I antigens include HLA-A, HLA-B, and HLA-C molecules.
HLA and MHC antibodies are valuable tools in immunopeptidomics, enabling the identification and characterization of neoantigens via high-performance liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry.
