Target Information
Synaptotagmin 4 may be involved in Ca²⁺-dependent exocytosis of secretory vesicles through Ca²⁺ and phospholipid binding to the C2 domain. It may serve as a Ca²⁺ sensor in vesicular trafficking and exocytosis processes. Additionally, it plays a role in dendrite formation by melanocytes (PubMed:23999003).
