Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Peroxisome proliferators are non-genotoxic carcinogens that act through nuclear hormone receptors known as peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors (PPARs). These ligand-dependent intracellular proteins stimulate transcription of specific genes by binding to DNA sequences after ligand activation.
PPARs are activated by compounds such as clofibric acid, nafenopin, WY-14,643, and certain fatty acids. They can induce transcription of acyl coenzyme A oxidase and cytochrome P450 (CYP450) A6 by interacting with specific response elements.
PPARs also form heterodimers with retinoid X receptor (RXR) alpha.
