Product Specific Information
This antibody is predicted to react with non-human primate and mouse based on sequence homology.
Intact IgG appears on a non-reducing gel as a ~150 kDa band and upon reduction generates a ~25 kDa light chain band and a ~50 kDa heavy chain.
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems utilize antibody DNA sequences cloned from immunoreactive rabbits, and individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
Apolipoproteins act as stabilizers of intact lipoprotein particles. At least nine polymorphic forms are known. Quantitative measurements of HDL, LDL, and VLDL particles in human serum help estimate coronary heart disease risk. Immunological measurements of apolipoproteins A-1 and B are considered more accurate indicators than lipoprotein particle measurements.
Apolipoproteins are derived from human plasma by density gradient ultracentrifugation and HPLC.
