For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

In humans, ZIM2 and PEG3 (GeneID:5178) are distinct genes sharing a common set of 5′ exons and promoter, both being paternally expressed. Alternative splicing connects shared exons with unique exons of ZIM2 or PEG3. In contrast, mouse and cow ZIM2 and PEG3 do not share exons, and the imprinting status of ZIM2 is not conserved among mammals. Alternatively spliced transcripts encoding identical proteins have been identified for the human ZIM2 gene.
