Calcium Channel gamma-3는 type I transmembrane AMPA receptor regulatory protein (TARP)으로, AMPA 수용체의 이동 및 채널 개폐 조절을 담당합니다. 또한 PMP-22/EMP/MP20 계열의 8개 단백질 하위군 중 하나로, CACNG3 유전자 이상은 소아 결여성 간질의 감수성 인자로 알려져 있습니다.
