Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
- For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
RYBP is a component of the Polycomb group (PcG) multiprotein PRC1-like complex, which maintains the transcriptionally repressive state of various genes, including Hox genes, during development.
This complex mediates monoubiquitination of histone H2A at Lys-119, contributing to heritable chromatin modification.
RYBP may regulate TP53 stability and transcriptional activity, influence apoptosis through ubiquitination pathways, and function as a transcriptional repressor.
It may also play a role in tumor suppression and metastasis inhibition in breast cancer by down-regulating SRRM3.
