Product Specific Information

The monoclonal antibody m2a-15F8 recognizes mouse IgG2a antibodies and can be used as a secondary reagent in flow cytometry and microscopy. It does not cross-react with other mouse isotypes or any rat isotype antibodies.

• Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
• Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of cells stained with a mouse IgG2a primary antibody. Recommended ≤0.25 µg/test (100 µL final volume).
• Cell Range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test. Optimize titration for best performance.

Fluorochrome Information:
PerCP-eFluor® 710 emits at 710 nm and is excited by the 488 nm blue laser. Recommended filter: 710/50 bandpass (695/40 acceptable). Ensure instrument compatibility.

Fixation:
Samples may be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333-54) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark with minimal loss of signal. Performance may vary by clone.

Target Information

Anti-Mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with well-characterized specificity for mouse immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of target antibodies. Secondary antibodies enhance assay versatility and sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondaries can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically produced by immunizing the host with pooled immunoglobulins and further purified or conjugated for specific applications.
