Target Information
Transmembrane protein 123 (Tmem123) is a single-pass type I membrane protein belonging to the CD164 family. It serves as a novel marker for dendritic cell (DC) maturation. Tmem123 is associated with the cell surface expression of CD40 and has been implicated in oncotic cell death, characterized by cell and organelle swelling, vacuolization, increased membrane permeability, and cell adhesion.
