Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. Purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
This gene encodes poly(ADP-ribosyl)transferase-like 1 protein, which catalyzes a poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation reaction. The protein has a catalytic domain homologous to poly(ADP-ribosyl) transferase but lacks the N-terminal DNA binding domain that activates the catalytic domain. As it cannot bind DNA directly, its transferase activity may be activated by other factors such as protein-protein interactions mediated by the extensive carboxyl terminus.
