Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The SNX9 gene encodes a member of the sorting nexin family, which contains a phox (PX) domain involved in intracellular trafficking.
Unlike some family members, SNX9 does not have a coiled-coil region but includes an SH3 domain near its N-terminus.
It interacts with cytoplasmic domains of precursor forms of ADAM9 and ADAM15, and binds the beta-appendage domain of adaptor protein 2 (AP-2), assisting AP-2 function at the plasma membrane.
SNX9 also interacts with activated Cdc42-associated kinase-2 to regulate degradation of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) protein.
