Target Information
Programmed death receptor ligand 1 (PD-L1, also called B7-H1) is a B7 family member that binds to the PD-1 receptor, negatively regulating T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling. PD-L1 engagement decreases TCR-mediated proliferation and cytokine production. Its expression is abundant in various murine and human cancers and can be upregulated by IFN-gamma stimulation, suggesting a role in tumor immune evasion.
