Target Information
STAT1 (Signal Transducers and Activators of Transcription 1)는 STAT 전사 인자군의 구성원으로, interferon-alpha, interferon-gamma, EGF, PDGF, IL6 등에 의해 활성화됩니다. STAT1은 세포 성장, apoptosis, 면역 반응, 지질 대사 관련 유전자 조절에 관여하며, 다양한 자극 및 병원체 노출 시 세포 생존성 유지에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
STAT1 유전자는 염색체 2번에 위치하며, JAK kinase에 의해 인산화된 후 핵으로 이동하여 다양한 유전자의 전사를 조절합니다. STAT1, STAT3, STAT5a, STAT5b는 광범위한 활성화 프로파일을 가지며, IFN 계열 (IFN-α, IFN-β, IFN-γ, IL-10), gp130 계열 (IL-6, IL-11, LIF, CNTF, G-CSF), 그리고 receptor tyrosine kinase (EGF, PDGF, CSF-1)에 의해 활성화됩니다.
STAT1은 두 가지 상이한 isoform을 암호화하는 대체 스플라이싱 전사체를 가집니다.
