Target Information
Sorbitol dehydrogenase는 polyols와 해당 ketoses 간의 상호 전환을 촉매하며, aldose reductase와 함께 포도당을 NADPH 보조인자를 이용해 sorbitol로 환원시키는 과정에 관여합니다. 이후 SORD는 NAD 보조인자를 이용해 sorbitol을 fructose로 산화시킵니다.
