Target Information
Somatostatin은 단일 preproprotein으로부터 절단되어 생성되는 14 및 28 아미노산 형태의 활성 호르몬입니다.
이 호르몬은 체내 전반에 발현되며, 고친화성 G-단백질 결합 수용체를 통해 다양한 2차 호르몬의 분비를 억제합니다.
Somatostatin은 뇌하수체 성장호르몬, 갑상선자극호르몬, 위장관 호르몬 등을 조절하여 내분비계의 중요한 조절자로 작용합니다.
또한 중추신경계의 신경전달 및 정상 및 종양세포의 증식에도 영향을 미칩니다.
