This antibody detects endogenous levels of total CD99.
Target Information
CD99 (E2, MIC2) is a transmembrane glycoprotein involved in regulating T cell adhesive properties and programmed cell death distinct from typical apoptosis. Its roles are specific to certain stages of T cell differentiation such as corticothymocytes. The CD99R isoform is expressed in the hematopoietic system, restricted to T, NK, and myeloid cells.
