This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
Albumin is a soluble, monomeric protein (~65–67 kDa) comprising about half of the blood serum protein. Human serum albumin (HSA) is the most abundant protein in human plasma, with a serum half-life of approximately 20 days. It functions as a carrier protein for steroids, fatty acids, and thyroid hormones, and helps stabilize extracellular fluid volume.
Albumin is synthesized in the liver as pre-pro-albumin, which undergoes N-terminal peptide removal before secretion. It binds water, Ca²⁺, Na⁺, K⁺, fatty acids, hormones, bilirubin, and drugs, playing a key role in regulating the colloidal osmotic pressure of blood.
