Product Specific Information

It participates in clathrin-dependent endocytosis by binding to the AP-2 complex and is expressed in postmitotic neurons, contributing to axonal growth.
Neural cells expressing Numb isoforms with short phosphotyrosine-binding (SPTB) domains exhibit extensive neurite outgrowth, which can be inhibited by voltage-gated Ca²⁺ channel inhibitors or Ca²⁺ chelators.
