Target Information
HIF-1 beta는 aryl hydrocarbon receptor nuclear translocator (ARNT) 유전자 산물로, 저산소 상태에서 세포 내 산소 항상성 유지에 중요한 역할을 하는 핵 단백질입니다. HIF-1은 HIF-1 alpha와 HIF-1 beta의 이합체로 구성되며, 산소 농도에 따라 HIF-1 alpha의 안정성이 조절됩니다.
저산소 환경에서는 HIF-1 alpha의 분해가 억제되어 전사 활성도가 증가하며, 이에 따라 세포 내 HIF-1 alpha 농도가 상승합니다. 반면 HIF-1 beta는 산소 농도에 관계없이 안정적으로 유지됩니다.
HIF-1 beta의 기능 이상은 저산소증, 신세포암 등 다양한 질환과 관련이 있습니다.
