Target Information
mCherry is a monomeric fluorescent protein used as a tracer and molecular marker in biotechnology.
It absorbs at 587 nm and emits at 610 nm, showing high photostability and rapid maturation (t₀.₅ ≈ 15 minutes), allowing visualization shortly after expression.
