• Store vial at 4°C prior to reconstitution.
• For extended storage, aliquot and freeze at -20°C or below.
• Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge if solution is not clear after standing at room temperature.
• Stable for several weeks at 4°C as undiluted liquid.
• Dilute only immediately before use.

Quality Control:

• Immunoelectrophoresis shows a single precipitin arc against anti-fluorescein and anti-rabbit serum.
• SDS-PAGE confirms preparation is substantially free of aggregates and consistent with purified Rabbit IgG.

Target Information

Albumin is a soluble, monomeric protein (~65–67 kDa) comprising about half of blood serum protein.
Human serum albumin (HSA) is the most abundant plasma protein with a half-life of approximately 20 days.
It functions as a carrier for steroids, fatty acids, and thyroid hormones, and helps maintain extracellular fluid volume.
Synthesized in the liver as pre-pro-albumin, it binds water, Ca²⁺, Na⁺, K⁺, fatty acids, hormones, bilirubin, and drugs.
Its primary role is regulation of the colloidal osmotic pressure of blood.
