Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional round of desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

GOLPH1 (also known as GCP60) is a Golgi-associated protein that interacts with the integral membrane protein giantin and plays a role in maintaining Golgi structure. It also interacts with Golgin-160, whose caspase-cleaved fragments translocate to the nucleus. The interaction between GOLPH1 and Golgin-160 fragments is regulated by the oxidation state of Cys-463 within GOLPH1, indicating a coordinated process of nuclear localization.
Additionally, GOLPH1 interacts with Numb, a signaling protein involved in asymmetric cell division of neural progenitor cells, suggesting that Golgi fragmentation and reconstitution during the cell cycle may regulate Numb signaling and link cell fate to cell cycle progression.
