Target Information
Apolipoprotein H (APOH) is involved in multiple physiological pathways including lipoprotein metabolism, coagulation, and the production of antiphospholipid autoantibodies. APOH may serve as a cofactor for anionic phospholipid binding by antiphospholipid autoantibodies found in sera of patients with lupus and primary antiphospholipid syndrome, though it is not required for reactivity of antiphospholipid antibodies associated with infections.
