This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to prevent contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, and individual clones are screened for optimal production.

Target Information
CA2 is one of several (at least seven) isozymes of carbonic anhydrase. Carbonic anhydrase catalyzes the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide.
Defects in this enzyme are associated with osteopetrosis and renal tubular acidosis.
