BM8 단클론 항체는 마우스 F4/80 항원을 인식하며, 약 160 kDa의 표면 수용체입니다. EGF-TM7 단백질 패밀리에 속하며, 세포외 N-말단에 7개의 EGF-like 도메인과 7개의 막관통 서열, 세포내 C-말단 도메인을 포함합니다.
F4/80 항원은 대부분의 성숙 대식세포에서 발현되며, 대표적인 대식세포 표지자로 사용됩니다. 또한 일부 호산구, Langerhans 세포 및 특정 수지상세포 아형에서도 발현이 보고되었습니다. 일부 림프조직 내 대식세포에서는 F4/80이 결여될 수 있습니다.

Target Information

F4/80 항원은 160 kDa의 세포 표면 당단백질로, EGF TM7 단백질 계열에 속하며 인간 EMR1과 68%의 아미노산 서열 유사성을 가집니다.
다양한 성숙 조직 대식세포(쿠퍼세포, Langerhans, 미세아교세포, 장 점막, 복강, 폐, 흉선, 골수, 비장 적색수질 등)에서 발현되며, 일부 수지상세포에서도 관찰됩니다.
T세포 영역의 대식세포에서는 발현되지 않습니다.
최근 연구에서는 F4/80이 CD8⁺ 조절 T세포 생성에 관여할 가능성이 제시되고 있습니다.
