Rat anti-Mouse CD321 antibody, clone H202-106 recognizes murine CD321, also known as junctional adhesion molecule 1 (JAM-1).
CD321 is a 274 amino acid, approximately 32–41 kDa single-pass, type I transmembrane glycoprotein, which shares similarities with JAM-2 and JAM-3.


Target Information

CD321 (F11R, JAM-1, JAM-A) is a cell-surface adhesion molecule belonging to the Ig superfamily of receptors.
It is a 32–41 kDa glycoprotein with two extracellular Ig-like domains, a transmembrane region, and a short cytosolic tail.
The protein assembles as a homodimer and can associate with other membrane proteins such as integrins.
CD321 is expressed on leukocytes, platelets, erythrocytes, stem cells, epithelial and endothelial cells, and mediates cell-cell contact.
It is closely associated with epithelial tight junction components such as ZO-1 and occludin, and plays roles in maintaining epithelial and endothelial barriers, hematopoiesis, angiogenesis, and tumor progression.
