Product Specific Information
- For immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
The NKX2.2 gene encodes a protein containing a homeobox domain, involved in the morphogenesis of the central nervous system. It is located on chromosome 20 near NKX2-4, with duplicated forms (TITF1 and NKX2-8) on chromosome 14. The encoded protein functions as a nuclear transcription factor.
