Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min.
Target Information
The NKX2.2 protein contains a homeobox domain and may be involved in the morphogenesis of the central nervous system. This gene is located on chromosome 20 near NKX2-4, and both genes appear duplicated on chromosome 14 as TITF1 and NKX2-8. The encoded protein is likely a nuclear transcription factor.
