Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7 K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The FBXO8 gene encodes a member of the F-box protein family, characterized by an approximately 40-amino-acid F-box motif. F-box proteins form part of the SCF (SKP1–Cullin–F-box) ubiquitin ligase complex, which mediates phosphorylation-dependent ubiquitination.
F-box proteins are classified into three groups:

  1. Fbws – containing WD-40 domains
  2. Fbls – containing leucine-rich repeats
  3. Fbxs – containing other interaction modules or no recognizable motifs

FBXO8 belongs to the Fbxs class and includes a C-terminal region similar to yeast Sec7p, a regulator of vesicular protein transport. It may interact with ADP-ribosylation factors (ARFs) and exhibit ARF-GEF activity.
