Target Information
IRAK3 (Interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase 3) is a serine/threonine kinase and a member of the IRAK protein family, essential in Toll/IL-R immune signal transduction pathways.
Primarily expressed in monocytes and macrophages, IRAK3 acts as a negative regulator of Toll-like receptor signaling and mediates innate immunity.
Mutations in IRAK3 are associated with susceptibility to asthma and immunocompromised states during sepsis.
