Product Specific Information

  • 1 µg/mL of MA5-45423 detects TrpM7 in 10 µg of COS cell lysate transiently transfected with TrpM7 by colorimetric immunoblot using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP secondary antibody.
  • Detects approximately 220 kDa band in TrpM7-transfected cells.
  • No cross-reactivity with TrpM6.

Target Information

TRPM7 (Transient Receptor Potential Melastatin 7) is a unique protein combining ion channel and kinase functions. It mediates calcium and monovalent cation influx, contributing to cell depolarization and intracellular calcium increase. The kinase domain phosphorylates itself and other substrates, and its activity is essential for channel function, being ATP-dependent.
