Target Information
ALKBH5 (RNA demethylase ALKBH5)는 RNA의 산화적 탈메틸화를 통해 N(6)-methyladenosine (m6A) RNA를 탈메틸화하는 dioxygenase입니다. 이는 고등 진핵생물의 mRNA에서 가장 흔한 내부 변형으로, mRNA의 가공 및 수출에 영향을 미칩니다. 또한 in vitro에서 단일가닥 DNA의 N(6)-methyladenosine을 탈메틸화할 수 있으며, 분자 산소, alpha-ketoglutarate, 철을 필요로 합니다.
