For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD34 is a highly glycosylated monomeric surface protein (111–115 kDa) expressed on various stem cell populations. It serves as a stem cell marker and may function as a receptor involved in adhesion, differentiation, and proliferation of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells.
CD34 expression may indicate specific stages of hematopoietic development and altered adhesion properties. It may act as an adhesion molecule mediating the attachment of stem cells to the bone marrow extracellular matrix or stromal cells, and as a scaffold for glycans that interact with lectins.
The intracellular domain is phosphorylated by protein kinase C, suggesting a role in signal transduction.
Diseases associated with CD34 dysfunction include dermatofibrosarcoma and neurofibroma.
