Product Specific Information

The SN3 monoclonal antibody reacts with the human CD24 molecule (Heat Stable Antigen, HSA). This 35–50 kDa molecule is GPI-anchored and expressed on erythrocytes, thymocytes, peripheral lymphocytes, and myeloid lineage. CD24 has been reported to bind P-selectin (CD62P).

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested on normal human peripheral blood cells.
Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Each product contains:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Important Notes:

• NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., propidium iodide, 7-AAD, DAPI).
• Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability.
• CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) is required for optimal staining.
• Add 5 µL per sample to antibody cocktails prior to combining with cells.
• For single-color controls, use 5 µL per 100 µL cell sample.

NovaFluor conjugates utilize Phiton™ technology based on nucleic acid dye structures, enabling engineered fluorescent signatures with reduced spillover and spread.

Target Information

CD24 is a GPI-anchored glycoprotein expressed at multiple stages of B-cell development—from pro-B cells to mature surface Ig-positive B cells. Expression is low or absent in plasma cells. It is also expressed in most B-lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemias, B-cell CCLs, and B-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. CD24 may regulate B-cell proliferation, maturation, and autoimmunity.
