Product Specific Information

The SN3 monoclonal antibody reacts with the human CD24 molecule, also known as Heat Stable Antigen (HSA). This 35–50 kDa molecule is anchored in the plasma membrane via phosphatidylinositol and is expressed by erythrocytes, thymocytes, peripheral lymphocytes, and myeloid lineage. It has been reported that P-selectin (CD62P) binds to CD24.

Each product contains:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and validated for flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells.
Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.2 µg)/test in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.

Compatibility Notes:

• NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., PI, 7-AAD, DAPI).
• Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains with NovaFluor dyes.

CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01):

• Enhanced formulation for optimal staining.
• Add 5 µL per sample (regardless of panel size).
• For single-color controls: use 5 µL per 100 µL cell sample (10³–10⁸ cells).

NovaFluor conjugates utilize Phiton™ technology with engineered nucleic acid dye structures to minimize spectral spillover and spread.

Target Information

CD24 is a GPI-anchored glycoprotein expressed across multiple stages of B-cell development—from pro-B cells in bone marrow to mature surface Ig-positive B cells. Plasma cells show minimal expression. CD24 is also found on most B-lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemias, B-cell CCLs, and non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. It may regulate B-cell proliferation, maturation, and autoimmunity control.
