Target Information
FANCD2 (Fanconi anemia group D2 protein)은 염색체 안정성을 유지하는 데 필수적인 단백질로, 감수분열 동안 상동 염색체의 정확하고 효율적인 결합을 촉진합니다.
이 단백질은 DNA 이중 가닥 절단의 복구에 관여하며, 상동 재조합 및 단일 가닥 결합 과정을 통해 손상을 복구합니다.
또한 FANCD2는 복제 스트레스에 의해 유도된 비동원체 이상 구조에 BLM 단백질을 표적화/안정화하는 데 필요하며, 손상된 크로마틴에 BRCA2/FANCD1을 로딩하는 데 관여합니다.
FANCD2 유전자 결함은 Fanconi anemia complementation group D2를 유발하며, 이 질환은 골수의 모든 세포 요소에 영향을 주어 빈혈, 백혈구 감소증, 혈소판 감소증을 초래합니다.
