Target Information

HLA-E는 HLA class I heavy chain paralogues에 속하는 단백질로, heavy chain과 beta-2 microglobulin으로 구성된 이종이합체입니다. Heavy chain은 세포막에 고정되어 있으며, 다른 class I 분자의 leader peptide에서 유래한 제한된 subset의 peptide를 결합합니다.
Heavy chain은 약 45 kDa 크기이며, 유전자는 8개의 exon으로 구성되어 있습니다.

• Exon 2–3: α1, α2 domains (peptide 결합 부위)
• Exon 4: α3 domain
• Exon 5: transmembrane region
• Exon 6–7: cytoplasmic tail
