For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

TCEB1, also known as elongin C, is a subunit of the transcription factor B (SIII) complex composed of elongins A/A2, B, and C. This complex activates elongation by RNA polymerase II by suppressing transient pausing during transcription.
Elongin A acts as the transcriptionally active component, while elongins B and C serve regulatory roles. Elongin A2 is testis-specific and forms a stable complex with elongins B and C.
The von Hippel-Lindau tumor suppressor protein binds to elongins B and C, inhibiting transcription elongation. Western blot analyses using two distinct antibodies targeting unique regions of this protein confirm consistent molecular weight results.
