Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
ABCD2 belongs to the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter superfamily, which mediates molecular transport across cellular membranes.
This protein is part of the ALD subfamily, involved in peroxisomal fatty acid import.
ABCD2 forms half transporters that dimerize with ABCD1 or other peroxisomal ABC transporters to become functional.
Although its exact role remains unclear, it is speculated to act as a dimerization partner in peroxisomal transport processes.
