For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.

Target Information

CLEC4M is a type II integral membrane protein that shares 77% identity with CD209 antigen, a known HIV gp120-binding protein.
Like CD209, CLEC4M binds intercellular adhesion molecule 3 (ICAM3) and HIV-1 gp120, enhancing HIV-1 infection of T cells.
Western blot analyses using antibodies against distinct regions of CLEC4M confirm a consistent molecular weight.
The CLEC4M gene is located on chromosome 19p13.3, clustered with CD209 and CD23/FCER2 genes.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified, though the biological relevance of some remains uncertain.
