Target Information
FDFT1은 콜레스테롤 생합성 경로의 첫 단계를 촉매하여 trans-farnesyldiphosphate를 squalene으로 전환한다. FDFT1의 프로모터 활성 및 스테롤 반응성 손실은 전사 시작점 상류 131 bp에 위치한 69-bp 구간에서 관찰된다. 해당 구간에는 sterol regulatory element-1 (SRE1) 및 두 개의 NF1 결합 부위가 포함되어 있다.
