Target Information

Anti-Human secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for human immunoglobulins. They are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of their specified targets. Secondary antibodies provide increased versatility by enabling the use of various detection systems such as HRP, AP, or fluorescence. They also enhance sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically, these antibodies are produced by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to generate highly specific reagents.
