They are valuable for detection, sorting, or purification of specific targets. Secondary antibodies enhance versatility by enabling multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and improve sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
