Target Information
Histone H3 is a DNA-binding protein found in the chromatin of all eukaryotic cells. Together with other histone proteins, it forms nucleosomes that organize DNA.

The N-terminal tail of histone H3 undergoes various post-translational modifications (e.g., methylation, acetylation, phosphorylation) that influence chromatin structure and gene expression.
