Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
- For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
CA125 determinant is present on a high molecular weight, mucin-like glycoprotein. It is expressed in tissues derived from coelomic and Müllerian epithelium, including pleura, pericardium, peritoneum, and reproductive tract epithelia (fallopian tube, endometrium, endocervix). It is also found in pancreas, colon, gall bladder, stomach, kidney, apocrine sweat gland, and mammary gland, as well as in mesothelial cells. CA125 is a well-known marker expressed in ovarian tumors of serous, endometrioid, or clear cell types and in adenocarcinomas of Müllerian origin.
