Target Information
RPS6KA3 (RSK2) is a serine/threonine kinase that modulates various cellular processes including transcription, adhesion, growth, survival, and proliferation. It contains two non-identical kinase catalytic domains and phosphorylates substrates within the MAPK signaling pathway. The activity of RPS6KA3 is associated with cell growth and differentiation, and mutations in this gene have been linked to Coffin-Lowry syndrome (CLS).
