For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.

Target Information

KIT (c-KIT) is a proto-oncogene and a type III transmembrane receptor for MGF (mast cell growth factor, also known as stem cell factor).
It regulates growth and activation of various hematopoietic and non-hematopoietic cells. Mutations in KIT are associated with gastrointestinal stromal tumors, mast cell disease, acute myelogenous leukemia, and piebaldism.
Deregulation of KIT receptor TK, particularly the D816V mutation, is a therapeutic target in neoplastic mast cell growth.
c-Kit is expressed in hematopoietic stem cells, germ cells, mast cells, and gastrointestinal tract cajal cells. Upon ligand binding, c-Kit dimerizes, leading to receptor activation and autophosphorylation of tyrosine residues (e.g., Tyr703), enabling Ras/ERK signaling.
SCF/c-Kit activates PI3K, PLC-γ, and JAK/STAT pathways, essential for hematopoiesis, stem cell maintenance, and gametogenesis.
