Product Specific Information
This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.
Advantages of recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies:
- Better specificity and sensitivity
- Lot-to-lot consistency
- Animal origin-free formulations
- Broader immunoreactivity due to large rabbit immune repertoire
This antibody has specificity for Mouse TROP-2/TACSTD2.
Target Information
TROP2 is a carcinoma-associated antigen defined by the monoclonal antibody GA733. This antigen is a member of a family including at least two type I membrane proteins. It functions as a cell surface receptor and transduces intracellular calcium signals. Mutations in its gene can cause gelatinous drop-like corneal dystrophy, an autosomal recessive disorder leading to severe corneal amyloidosis and blindness.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
