Annexin I는 Ca²⁺ 의존적 인지질 결합 단백질 계열에 속하며, 주로 세포막의 세포질면에 위치합니다. Annexin I는 분자량 40 kDa를 가지며, phospholipase A2 억제 활성을 나타냅니다. 이는 염증 매개체인 prostaglandins 및 leukotrienes의 생합성에 필요한 phospholipase A2를 억제함으로써 잠재적인 항염증 활성을 가질 수 있습니다.
